About Us
Ulu & Indy is a small, Inuit-owned business run by mother and daughter team, Eenah and Elaine.
With roots in the Qikiqtani region of Nunavut and now based in Ottawa, Ontario, we're inspired by the thousands of Inuit living in Southern Canada. Ulu & Indy highlights the thriving “urban Inuk” culture alongside Northern traditions and the creativity of Indigenous communities across the country.
We bead, sew, crochet, and create a variety of handmade pieces you'll find in the shop. We've also curated a selection of goods from Indigenous artists and brands across Canada—makers whose work we admire and who, like us, are building something creative and community-driven.
Thanks for being here and supporting Indigenous-owned businesses.
